This is my pet... I've had him for about 18+ years, he could live to be about 60, so he's a life long pet. He's very kewl, too!

He's so tolerant of what I do to him.

Any bird that lives to be 60+ and is down for "dead bird" jokes is probably the best bird ever in the history of birds.

LOL! Thanks... this bird is so kewl... would you believe that someone saw that picture of him on a serving plate and actually got mad at me? They have no idea the bond I have with this bird!

Haha, awesome. Looks like quite the character!

Here's Cinnamon, our red Doberman. She likes to run, and stuff

That stuff on her chin is snow because she runs down the driveway, stops to bite a "snow snack" out of the snow drift and starts running again. It's the cutest thing.

I had a dog that used to do that, too. only she wouldn't stop, she'd just scoop it up as she was going.

and we had a dog that would run down the driveway and just dive through the drifts. Head first, repeatedly, obviously he thought snow was the coolest thing in the world.

That cockie is all kinds of awesome. My aunt has one, but he's an aggressive pain in the butt that bites anyone but my cousin that's silly enough to go in the cage with him.

Anyway, Jake at 14 weeks.

Thread from the dead :P
Jake at about 6 months

He's still a pain in the butt. Does what he's told (for the most part :P) but I think I'm going to have to buy a harness, as he keeps trying to get out of his collar while he's on the lead :|

The cat, Mao (chinese for cat) She thinks she's a dog, she plays fetch, likes to wrestle and really only naps on hot days in the afternoon, otherwise she's running around chasing stuff all day long.....

Arrrrr, my old pix seem to be non-functioning due to changes in Flickr somewhere along the way.... so, I reintroduce our dog who we inherited back in 2009. She is a Miniature Pinscher (Min Pin), was a rescue dog and has become a spoiled princess.

Her name is Momo - Japanese for peach.

The first pet I ever paid for... Taeko, she's a yorkie, just over a year old.

last year when we got her. This was about two weeks after we got her.
Image

a couple weeks ago. you can see she hasn't gotten much bigger. she's the same size as my wife's shoe.

I love yorkies! Is that as big as she'll get? And Mike's min-pin is super cute. My neighbor has one named "Chico." He'a bit heavy so he looks like a sausage.

From what I'm told, she's now full grown, but I'm not 100% sure. She's a bit smaller than my friend's 3 y/o yorkie but bigger than the 2 y/o male we're thinking of breeding her with. I think it's funny she's not even 5 pounds. I'm used to big dogs that can knock you down by jumping on you, now I have this little thing that won't even budge the scale. I love it. haha
