Hello everyone,

I am a long time lurker and sometimes poster. I have never started a thread on my car. I have recently started working on it and would like to share. I do like seeing everyone else's progress so I thought I should return the favor. So here is my car and I will update as I get things done.

I am starting to work on the rear suspension. I have purchased a few items for the car with the help of greenmonster. This is what I have so far.

Did you get this car from a guy here in Napa? If so, I've ridden in it. Nice car.

Beautiful car! I always wondered why you hadn't started a thread on your car. Any interior shots?

I do want to get new rims but do not know which ones I want yet. I have three in mind. My motor is still the L20A and I might just get it rebuilt and throw on the triple mikunis. Unless mikey is selling his motor. lol

So I have got the rear arms off here. Then I took out the crossmember.
Image

I then droped everything off at a place called "The Parts House". My friend Jason works there in the machine shop. So I had him remove all the bushings and bearings. He also put them ion the parts washer and cleaned them up.

Now the parts are off to the sand blaster and powder coating.

I have been hanging out with one of my friends for a little to long and he has been taking his project to the next level. This has rubbed off on me and so I got new hardware from nissan (all the stuff on the right). The stuff on the left is my stock hardware that I soaked in laquer thinner for a week and then washed off. The axle nuts are from Datsport not Nissan.

I also had all the washers replated.
Image

I only did the washers because I was afraid of the hydrogen embrittlement making my bolts unsafe. This has happened to a friend of mine with some lug nuts. It was not that much fun when the wheell came off on the freeway.

I also orderend poly bushings from Whiteline thru Datsport for my crossmember and moustache bar. The ones for the crossmember are the same as a 510 and I copied Kev for the moustache bar.

The crossmember bushing are cool cause they use the stock cone bushing.
