Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what happened to the Silvia that was used in the Second Krate Kid? I remember the car went up for sale 5ish years ago, and im wondering what happened to it. It was a pretty solid car if i remember. I would love to own that thing.

I used to own the car.

Classic Datsun Motorsports had put the car up for sale about 2 years ago. You may wish to contact them for further details @

Last I heard Les Cannaday from ClassicDatsun.com owned it, but i'm not sure if he still does or not. Last photo I saw of it it looked like this (but that was around 2003):

(Hey Dan!)

I've talked to Les about that Silvia. He has since sold it and pretty much said that the current owner won't entertain any offers for it and plans on keeping it.

Man, I would love to start a project on one of these.......

It is a solid car, but there are nicer ones to get. That one had a pop up sunroof cut into it, non stock hood, and a U20 dropped into it at some point....
