The turn came for the left ammo with all levers, ball joints, steering trapezoid, silent blocks etc.
Now it is smooth suspension and silent steering. :D

New rims fit well - enough clearance to fit 205/70 tyres

Ok, pal, accepted - body restoration is the first priority 4 me. Now collecting money for it. Thanks for positive feedback.
Concerning corolla - yup, it my pal's KE26-V. Licence plates - Odessa region, after Ukraine independence in 1992 there were plates series OT & OI. Alike soviet signs. There is corolla's restoration thread - http://www.j-cars.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=477

Going back to Nissan. Some progress again.
Rims painting - before and after

Hi Glomerus,
It looks like you have been a busy bee. Nice to see your car progressing. Mine is just running now but no bodywork done.

I would suggest also looking for someone who can fabricate panels for you. The rust around your fenders looks like it will take some work. I am planning to send my car to a guy who makes panels from scratch. I just redid my 65 beetle. I am planning for him to fabricate the rear panel, floorboards, bonnet and various other parts on my datsun.

Check out the pics below of my 65 floorpan. I actually sold off the floorpans I bought as this guy makes better panels in 1.2mm thick sheet. I am sure there are people around your area that can do equal or better!!! He also galvanized the panels before welding it on. MIght not be the best idea as it might promote rust with the bare steel it was welded to but I just wanted to experiment.

So, this weekend I've continued car's floor inspection. So I've found several (6) holes and that's all. Now floor is clean and drying to be coated with anticorrosive primer. New wheels give new look - brutal old car... :D
