looking hellsa good dude. does the engine get power all the way up to 8.5k rpms?

yes! but I did it once during our old school trackday here in the Philippines. clutc got busted after that day :lol: engine is already rebuilt. 3T internals. balance and shot pinned conrads, ISKY cams, ported and polished head with retainers and double valve springs with Big Valves.

As a fellow "Wedge" Corona owner, I'd like to say great job. That car looks amazing. I'm restoring my 81 Wedge, so it'll be ready by springtime.

I'm so GLAD you got the rear bumper... it looks 100% better and complete. I hate seeing completely restored older Toyotas and Datsuns, running around with no bumpers. They look so GHETTO.

I guess either those owners like getting pulled over by cops, or don't give a crap about their own safety. :roll:

Two things:

1. Not every state pulls you over for it. Never even been looked at by a cop for having no bumpers in Texas or Oklahoma.

2. Most of the slim chrome bumpers (pre-74) don't actually provide any "safety". And IMO the added "safety" of the post-74 bumpers is dubious at best.
