hi to all,
im a newbie here from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. i own a ta28. im nw d 2nd owner. got it as a birthday gift frm my father when i was 16. im a big fan of classic celica as i was raised with it.

here's some pics of my car.
this is some pics of my celica dated back in d 70's. when my father first bought this car.

this is d pic of my car when i first got it. everything is still in stock condition. lucky to get this car frm my dad as it was carefully taken care.

I wondered what happend to that 3T-B engine. Wish I could find a set of those bumpers for a future liftback project I got, also the filler piece between the taillights.

thnx guys.

i wish my father kept the fender mirrors. bt too bad. the mirrors were removed back in d 70's. he told me that back then d fender mirrors was not d style. so everyone with d fender mirrors will remove thm. hehe. bt im going to install it back on my project. :wink:

sorry wan. :( im still using it. im not using d one from d halfcut as it was broken. i moded d old radiator n relocate d top hose frm left to right. mayb u can try to mod other thank as an alternative such as wira's or levin's. :wink:

hee. thnx. just to make sure that it'll b rust free n would b in good condition for d next 30 years. mayb one day i'll pas it down to my son just like my father did. hehe. :lol: :lol:

Yeah, the east coast seems to be taking quite a bit longer than the rest of the country. We had some sent home to MD and they haven't arrived yet either :(. Sorry!

nice car. it's the exact celica model that i want. how i wish that we maintained our old school toyotas (TA22, '79 & '81 2-door corona). well, they weren't old schools then.
