Its not as clean as it looks. A lot of little dings that are super noticeable because its black. Not bad though. Id like to paint it this summer, but well see. 23year old paint is showing it a bit.

Soooo, found a 1976 corona mark2 locally (about 1/2hr from my place) for $500. Haven't seen it in person, not sure if its a wagon, sedan or coupe. Heard about it from a friend who gave me the number, going to call the guy tomorrow. Said it was "solid, needs brake lines and someone tried breaking into the trunk", hoping its not too rough. Might pick it up if its a wagon or a coupe! Not too keen on the corona sedans of this style.

If I decide not to buy it, I'll post the guys number and maybe some cell pics, as long as he is ok with it that is.

If I buy it, I might be willing to sell these ARE mesh man! I'll let you know!

:( My brother saw a tan/brown '76 corona wagon crushed at the local junk yard friday :(. I'm fairly certain it was this car car, as they told him it had only been at the yard about 2 weeks. I had called the guy who owned it about a week before I got my new chassis, and didnt get a call back until I was on my way to get the black mx73. I wish I had bought it.

So, here's some pics. I'm actually super embarrassed to be posting these, but I didnt feel like sitting out in the rain and taking the time to get some quality artistic shots. But I promised I'd post, so here you go, lol.

Yes, that is tape on my taillights, but I have new ones coming either today or tomorrow, so that's getting fixed. Also looking into different suspension options for the front. Money is going to be tight for a bit, so I'm putting my air-ride dreams on the back burner for a few months. I have an extra pair of s13 front coilovers I'm hoping to use on the front of this thing to drop it down a bit more, just need to find more info on s13 spindle/lca swap. The ride height is even, but the front wheel wells are huge on these, so it makes it look like it's got major reverse rake.

Wow... clone is right, it looks EXACTLY like your previous Cressy. Funny thing about finding clones... I remember you and me were twins, because we both own a Cressida AND an S13.

Well, I got rid of my 84 Cressida due to a noisy lifter, last summer. I went to my doctor's office a few weeks ago, as I was leaving the parking lot... I noticed a light blue MX63 Cressida in the driveway across the street, it has a bent hood and needs some brake work... but it runs, has a clean title and is clean, except for the hood and a basketball sized dent on one of the quarter panels.

The girl who owned it was desperate to sell and only wants $290 dollars. It's crazy how it looks EXACTLY and is the same year as my old Cressy.

Not sure if I wanna buy it or not... since I already have an 81 Corona and an 87 S12 200sx, to restore and get going by this spring. :)

BTW, is that red car across the street in your photo, a B13 Sentra SE-R? :o

Yes it is. Belongs to a friend, pretty clean actually, for a sentra, lol.
That's a good deal, but don't bury yourself in projects. I only just recently learned my lesson on that, lol.

I agree with you on that one.

On top of those 2 cars, I also have a Chevy S10, my girl's father gave to me... since he bought a new car. Yeah, too many projects is very time consuming and expensive... and funds are low, especially with the holidays.

I think I'm gonna have to say nay to the other Cressy. lol
