Oh come on .. it was worth it !!!

Try an RX5 or 121 like mine .. the parts are impossible to find

oldmaz its a shame you dont enjoy the cars you restore, you need to change that mentality ! Use them, look after them, and if they need a little tidy up later on so be it. Its not as though you'd drive a 40yr old car everyday anyway. Ive restored other cars in the past (not the extent Im currently doing), Im of the mind set that im going to enjoy my car when finished and whatever happens to it I'll cop on the chin. It'll only be a weekend cruiser or a car I'll use to visit friends/ family. There's no point locking it up and using it 4 times a year, we're here for a good time not a long time and you definitely cant take them with you when that time comes !

yeah very similar to an xE2x corolla bumper, I own a KE25 and I cant see any differences.... KE25s remind of Capella coupes a bit.

This sir is a beautiful car and you have renewed my faith in Australian old school Mazda owners.

I live in Sydney, in a rather fashionable suburb near the beach and I see a lot of old mazdas but they all look the same: 19in Simmons, candy paint jobs and a truck intercooler..... those cars make me sad, but your car makes me very happy :P

The blue 4 door almost looks like a Peugeot 504. :)

you dont know the paint code and/or name for the blue GR sedan do you?
i have a coupe the same colour and looking to respray in the future.

also is the white stripe a factory thing as my coupe doesnt have anything, it certainly changes the line of the car.

cheers
cory

Yes Richard did own this i actually put him onto the car in Japan where he bought it after i dint want to sell my coupe, he sold it to a guy in Tassie and i bought it of him, mind you i have done a far bit of work to it since Richard had it.
It is truly a special vehicle and alot rarer then my old series 1 with many differences between the 2. Im yet to re commission the factory air as it was degassd before it left Japan. It also shares the 12a from the RX3 with 5 speed.

Interesting thing its original colour is Angel Blue the same as my old JDM RX2 sedan, the engine bay is still blue. As much as i would like to repaint it im over the shinny resto and am enjoying driviong this thing rain hail or shine.

Im curious if anyone know of another in OZ

There was a white one for sale earlier in the year, I cant remember if it was a series 3 or 4 Rx2 coupe. Ive never seen another regardless.

The easiest way to tell difference is series 4 has no rear quarter reflectors.

Series 4 has the pointy front even though the series 3 in Japan I believe also had the pointy front unlike the 1 pictured above.
