Hey Guys

My Dr30 has had an S13 front end conversion and at this point i have used the standard tie rods..

as anyone who has done this conversion will know they dont really fit..

what solutions are there out there? i live in Australia and are really looking for a local solution ie there is a tie rod from another car that fits etc etc how ever im open to getting some of those pillow ball style ones you have in the states but the company wont reply to my emails..

Thanks for your help guys

Marc

Here's a site that ships worldwide for parts. Here's S13 tie rods:
http://www.frsport.com/Tein-Inner---Out ... _8172.html

Here's an AU source with pillow ball style tie rods:
http://www.option1garage.com.au/SuspensionParts.htm

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks heaps Mate..

but sadly not as S13s have male ends on the steering rack where as the Dr30 Has a Steering box with female ends so i need male ended tie rods with a s13 taper on the ball joint..

I think I read something about 910 tie rods working? Although that may have been for S13>xA6x Celica, so don't quote me on it :)

Ok, now that I've seen a picture of the set up and what you're talking about... I'm not sure what options there are. I did come across this:
http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=3082.0
It's someone who put S13 hubs on a 280zx which has the same setup it looks like. This was what that person mentioned:

But you will have to work somthing out with the tie rod ends. There a tad bit short. I got S13 rose joints and made a adaptor from that to the rack end

I would suspect trying to get in touch with that person may be your best option.

Good luck!

these are what i was suggested i try these but they wont reply to my email they look perfect provided the ends fit thread size and pitch etc but it should
as they fit s12 similar age.

if someone in the States would be interested in calling them for me it would be great maybe i could pay someone to buy them and ship them to me?
