I think the best thing is to bring your front struts to a car tuning shop and get them to convert them to coilovers, then run cut or custom made rear springs and short stroke rear shocks. I live near really bad roads so I cant have mine very low, I need the -40mm jap springs to pass the national car test and they may be ok for me to use on the roads here. the springs on it now are cut.

I havew the same test (EU - car test , every 2 years) but I work in the car industry so I get it approved.... and I can modify the coilovers myself, but if something fits , why bother making it....

ae86 coilovers are very expensive! that car junky place seems to have a lot of stuff, I will email them and ask if the parts will fit our rx30's. I found a guy on ebay in the uk who has stuff aswell he's getting back to me with a list. have you tried getting anything from toyota? whats still available? i priced a passenger door - €400. no brake disks/hoses/calipers/drums available, only pads

I haven't really had to. The few things I do need will be changed for non-original items anyway...I'll need new rear shocks for the MOT but I'll just find something that fits that is shorter than the originals.

I use Mercedes C-class rear shocks , they are short! :):):) but stiff and good - its a heavier car

I've had a quick look before, very few available, I'd love to get one sourced in japan and have it rebuilt, upgraded and fitted with ITB's out there... :P
