Although, I do think that I'm going to give these back (after Hellaflush this weekend :D ) and get some NCRCA's instead of wheel spacers, I think it'd work a little better.

so I was driving to work one day, and I noticed my car running hot, so I fill the radiator up with water (it's a ritual, I knew the radiator was going out and had a slow leak) but when I go the radiator about 85% filled, I noticed the water I was pouring in going right back out the front, so I drove home like a bawse and she didn't overheat :D

anyways, got a radiator from the junkyard, cleaned it up and painted it, then removed the one from my car and cleaned up most of the crap left over from the radiator spewing all over the engine bay.

pictars as always:

just curious... how's the ride quality with the coil-over sleeves in the front? spring rates? manufacturer? and where did you get them from? I'm about to do the same to my z31 and I'm looking to go as low as you with out spending full-on-coilover-money...

you gotta get the right shocks for the ride to be "decent" and not bouncy as all hell. I'm running Koni red shocks, but even they need to be stiffer (compression and rebound) to suit me better.

I believe the springs are somewhere around 450lb/in, but I want to go stiffer... ALOT stiffer, something like 600lb/in, and probably 650lb/in in the rear.

I got them from a local "speed shop" in town, they're the black box special, as in there isn't any brand on the box, just that they'll fit a bunch of different Honda's lmao

you really should look into the S9/Stance setup, ALOT of guys on z31performance.com are running that, and are VERY happy with the setup, I wish I would have gone that route nao...

yeah I've looked and searched everywhere on this subject... I've seen the S9 / stance set ups, those all look really good and function extremely well i'm sure. I really dont wanna spend that kinda money but eh... I will if I have to. lowering this thing isn't gonna be as easy as my old 82 maxima lol I just wanted your thoughts and details on your sleeves and relate that to doing it on my z. I've never seen another z car running coil over sleeves, I knew its way cheap, and doesn't mess with the stock geometery very much while giving you a nice SLAM lol. I've even been looking through honda forums trying to figure out what the strut tube diameters are that way I'd know what sleeve kit to order that would fit the z's strut tubes lol

car is looking great bro! I'm diggin the purple / gold details under the hood now :tu:

95% of all the sleeves are the same diameter, i.e. JUST right for S130/NA Z31 strut tubes (Z31T tubes are 5mm larger in diameter) ;)

my box says it's for a EG Civic/DC Integra I believe

ALSO, make sure WHATEVER you get, that you make absolutley certain that the upper hats are METAL and NOT rubber, makes the car drive SO much bettar and easier to turn haha
