If I didn't have a full time job that eats away most of the day, I'd consider it. Until then, I'm busy enough kicking out couple here and there.

This is the test casting all painted up. Just gotta touch up in a few areas, and give it a wash to highlight the details. I also had to doctor this one up a bit, so some of the details are a little rough.

That kit has a lot of problems, but I'd still like to have a few... :P

If you get around to building it, hit me up if you want to save yourself some time. 8)

Oddly enough, the BRE 510 is a better kit... :P

Although the re-issues seem to be missing a few parts that were in the original '72 issue kits.

Hi guys, just found this thread.

I have 2 questions. I am trying to find a 1/24 scale plastic model of a 1st generation Isuzu Trooper (1984-1991) and I have failed to locate one. I just can't understand how a globally successful vehicle like the Trooper was never made into a model kit by anyone. I have seen the 2nd generation kit, but I need a 1st generation kit. I am trying to build 1/24 scale replicas of my Isuzus. I already have the Tamiya VehiCROSS kit and the Testors Isuzu Impulse kit, but I still need the Trooper. So, that is question 1.

Question 2, I am going to Japan next month. So, do any of you model geeks out there know any good model car stores in Osaka or Tokyo?

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Bart

Yeah, Bighorn and sometimes it is called "UBS", whatever that means. Thanks for link, I've seen that kit, but that is the 2nd gen. I'm looking for a first gen model kit. There MUST be one.
