Yeah I would have went with the 1uz v8 out of the lexuses. Quad cam v8 with the relaiblity of a toyota. Plus you wouldn't have to put another manifactors eninge your car even more so a ford.

I agree, a Lexus 1UZ would have been a much better choice.

Hey ! Obviusly a Toyota V8 is better than a 1965 Ford, but here in Argentina there's not much options for engines.
No Lexus, No Toyotas V8, No Chevrolet V8,

I wanna cry NOW ! ! ! ! !

3rd world rules (?)

It looks like he has 2 other coupes to put a V8 in. You cant drive them all at once so why not share the wealth. :) Id kill for a coupe man. You dont see them around here.

Shipping is very expensive for cars. Around 10k dollars ! ! ! ! !
One Coupé here cost about 3k /40k dollars.

I send to you but I dont pay the shipping costs ! :D

PD. Yes, I have two more Coupes... The Good (green), the Bad (black, bue, white, etc..), and the Ugly (this one) 8)

Was about to say that it wouldnt be as easy getting a 1UZ in Argentina. But the 292 is a very reliable engine. My brother has a 292 in his 1959 Ford Galaxie, has 300k miles on it and hasnt needed a rebuild yet.. Granted its quite an old engine, but it still gets the job done. You guys have to realize that some people are doing the best they can with what they have. Good luck Seis, it looks like a fun project!
