If you dont know what It is, Its a grab hang ring fron a Tokyo subway train that was traditionally stolen by the Bosozoku gangs and displayed on the back of their cars as a 2 fingered salute to the law!!

I missed 2 opportunities to get a GTS hatch. One guy was given his and he sold it a year later for $800 after he got it running good, was supposed to get it from him then from guy he sold it to but kid fell in love with it and doesnt want to sell.
Met another guy who gave away a hatch a month before i met him, it was 2 tone blue, dayum!!
Might not be what u want to hear but what im getting to is that i have my eye on a 81 te72 2 door sedan trunk model. When i get it the first thing imma do is put supras on tint windows and put Grant GT steering wheels on. Later want to drop it 2 inches and put header, 32/36 and free flow exhaust on.
Came across and old guy twice who has 86 hatch, he bought it in 1990 and he said it's the most reliable car he's ever had. Not for sale but it will be available when he dies, i asked him to put me in his will for the car. TRUE STORY!! He's the one who spoke of death not me, lol.

Nice car mang like to see it low and round headlight conversion, the SSRs should bring it out, dont have those rims on car with tires being too skinny too tacky and if u lose air you're gonna destroy the rim. Just by it being RHD is enough to get me riled up, lol. Sumthin different.

The dished wheels are actually 14x9J Enkei Apache IIs and ill only be using them for the shows and summer crusing!!
I will be running a bit of stretch on them for the proper Boso look I want but my Watanabe winter wheels will have properly fitted wet weather tyres for great handling!!

Good compromise!! lol

UPDATE!!!!


Finally i have an update for you all!! :thumbs:

Well the Corolla went for its MOT this week and it failed!! :(

To be honest Im not upset as Ive done well to have 2 years of MOTs not costing me a penny on such and old car!!

Well it failed on fecked Exhaust, Rear brakes and a 10p sized hole in the inner arch!! Not to bad really!!

Well the exhaust was dead and rusted through so I used this as an excuse to get the exhaust I bought earlier fitted! As the whole exhaust was pretty cack I ended getting a full stainless system made up for it from the downpipe back, by Paul at Alan Jefferys in Plymouth!
He did a top job and it sounds nice and deep without being too loud!!

Also While the car has been off the road this week and ive had a week off with good weather, I started to fix up the bodywork and the damage to the front end!

There was a few rusty bits on the doors and rear arch so ive sanded, treated, filled where nessessary and painted to get it back looking nice again!!
Its not perfect but it cost me next to nothing to do and it will last till the car eventually has a full respray sometime!!

I havent got pics yet but i painted the back of the bumper with silver hammerite as these are cheap copy bumpers and do corrode unfortunately....

Ive got a mate whos gonna polish up my Dished wheels for the summer and im onto that suspension and Quad headlights next!!!

Wow I thought KE70s in the UK are all very rusty! Well, at least it was the case with every KE70 I saw there lol

Great job mate, looking very nice. Those quad headlight items are Taiwan-made by the looks of it. But they are new!

If anybody want a set, I can source you a used set. I think I can get some 4-5 sets at the moment with either 'C', 'XXX' or 'SE' emblem. The price should be around 80-100 US dollars. Not sure about shipping cost though..

Come on fit the lights and get a pair of 510 fender mirrors, if you like fender mirrors that is :)

I'd rather go for a pair of wing mirrors from a Hilux of the same era

Impeccable taste in wheels, i was looking through some veedub mags from the UK and you guys know where its at when it comes to wheel and tire fitment! Kudos!

P.S. my S14 doesnt look that pretty now.......... its a wrecked shell sat on my driveway after being hit by a woman in a Nissan Micra/March :(

They normally come as copys from Taiwan or Milaysia etc

UPDATE

Right another little update from this week for you all!!

Ive nearly finished off tidying the bodywork now and I only have a few small bits to finish off!

Unfortunately I found they couldnt be split to be painted as they had been welded together???? Well at least they wont leak air I guess and ill never need to split them again hopefully!!!...............

Look at what I found today. Only a tenner each :mrgreen:
They are genuine Toyota grilles. Excellent condition, no cracks.

Which one do you like? The one with yellow C badge or the one with white C badge?
