Hello I'm trying to find information on my 1972 TOYOTA Corona. Its a 4 door, 4 cylinder great condition. Im not really sure about anything else i need help finding more information..

Well sorry about being vague but thats really everything i know about the car... im trying to find a website or auto part store where i can get parts for a 1972 Toyota Corona deluxe. I'm trying to replace parts and even the engine. Would it be better to go stock?

What do you want to know is what I'm asking though. You mention the engine- is something wrong with the engine in yours or...? What is your goal with this car? Make a racecar out of it or just make it operational?

Ask specific questions and you'll get answers. You don't walk up to a realtor and say "I want a house, find me one," you have have to explain what you want. Same deal.

Thanks!! sorry about not really asking specific questions Im kind of new at this. Well I know about other cars for example i almost have a complete jdm crx but with this corona i am clueless. I am trying to find the history of the car. I am trying to figure out what engines might fit into the corona. What kind of engines it came with? Also i am trying to find out if this car can be converted from automatic to manual or if it matters depending the engine... hopefully that can help

A good start is to look on the build plate usually on the firewall for the body number.

It will be RTxxxxxxx. Maybe an RT81? Then you will know the specific model you have, which will enable you to source parts. Corona 72 is too vague.

There are some great sites on ebay stocking new old stock Toyota parts in the US. Start there. Toyota themselves will have little available, and may not even have a parts book for it as when everything went to EPC (electronic parts catalogue), they only included vehicles back to about 1976 or so.

Cabe Toyota are a possible exception (google it), but they can be a bit hit and miss at returning emails. f you want something specific, call them.
