Rear pan looks like the one in a celica supra of the same age. Basically, 4 link live axle. Somebody has fitted the x83 IRS to the MkII Supra. Of course, they had a head start as the MkII is already IRS. Maybe something of the Datsun variety would work? 280ZX or early 300? Maybe even early J30 type stuff? Good luck, with the swap.

That gear knob sticker is super lush.

Also get onto that 1uz swap as soon as you can. Then get a supra R154 box behind it, a sweet LSD for the back axel and you'll be showing those D1 boys whats up!

280ZX is semi-trailing arm like the x6/x7 Cressida, so that's out. My money is on S13. Easy to find, and fairly easy to adapt. Width might be spot on too.

Keeps the same wheel bolt pattern, and is a swappers dream because there's a main cradle and everything hangs off of it except the shocks/springs. So make the cradle fit, make some adjustable coil-overs fit/bolt up, and you're basically there. It's not "easy", but I think it would be the easiest multi-link IRS swap. :tu:

Also doesn't hurt that the S13 rear suspension has the biggest aftermarket support of any possible swap out there.

Figure out how to bolt up those four attachment points to the floor pan (preferably tied into the frame rails somehow), get some shorter coil-overs, and... 8)

With something like that, you would also need to re-enforce the shock towers as the x3/6/7 and the MA6x chassis in not set up for rear coil overs. Still, it shouldn't be hard to figure that one out. Surprises me that nobody has attempted to adapt that rear to the Supra.

LloyD doesnt feel like writing up the 5 speed conversion. Ok maybe. But i didnt take pics...and its the same as any other cressida 5 speed swap. Only significant thing you need to know is i used a factory 5 speed mx63 front half-shaft.

Damn man. It's hard to resist copying your styling for my cressy. That lil steering wheel is the shit!

I guess there is the pacific ocean separating our cars? Not like we'll both be at the same party wearing the same dress anytime soon..
