 Post subject: 74 TA22 - with 3t! need help :s

Hi all,

Im new to the site, and bought a ta22 celica witha 3t engine in it for AU$500. unfortunately ive had a few snags with the engine Nothing to hard though.

Have 1 issue what goes in here? is there spose to be a bolt just to block it off or is there something else that should belong??

Post up some pics of the car! Good job on the buy, I've been scouring the net for Celica's in Vic for awhile now.

If you have the non EGR water neck that bolt there is not used!

Here is a BRD built motor with the NON-EGR water neck. Notice that bolt hole was unsused also.

And for all of you people, those are "ALL" the "WRONG" answers. That is in fact used for bolting on the tensioner pulley for the Power Steering pump, and yes this is a fact, I built this very engine myself. And again that is my engine at the top of this thread.
