I hate it that the air filter covers the valve cover. Do you guys think I should leave it stock or change it to a smaller air filter that wouldn't cover the valve cover?

Normally I would say no, but after all that work on the valve cover...

Tempted to put an aftermarket one on too. Any ideas what may fit?

From the looks of it, one of the regular older 2bbl filters should fit?

Look around at Summit and see what they have. But measure the carb throat first. :tu:

Hmm, have to look into that. Car is still at the shop. My mechanic told me today there was some ticking noise. Going to have to pull the valve cover to see if we can pin point what the problem is. Hopefully it's nothing major.

I will have more pics of the air bag set up as soon as I get a chance. The fronts I used aerosport bags and the rears, I used firestone 2500 series bags.

QUESTION:

What would you guys think will look better if I had a choice of:

1) SSR MKIIs 15x7 Offset 0

OR

2) Equip 01s 15x9 -15,-25 (Assuming I can make them fit.)

Considering I have 15x8 -22 right now.

How impossible would it be for me to run 15x9 -15 and -25?

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

So it's either something like this (I think this pic has lower offset then what I am looking to get)

OR something "kinda" like this one:

OR save the money and just keep it the way it is like this:

Very bad news. The head is FUBAR and I am either going to try to replace the head, or do a swap.

There is someone local that is selling a 4ME. Can any verify whether the entire head of the 4ME is the same as the 4M? Are they interchangable?

Research tells me the heads should be interchangable.

To make less work out of it. I am contemplating swapping the motor out. Would I be able to just swap the entire motor while putting the carb on the 4ME?

Thanks guys.

I am no expert on the M series but I think it may work. there may be some issues with the manifolds or other things but it mayb worth a try. I personally would go with a 5MG swap.
