WOW... nice spot!!!
It is in an old Suzuki Sierra farm ute. Just wanted to get a new dizzy cap (and leads)... oh and she needs a water pump too.
Runs rich too... so there's something to fiddle with!!!
But,..all in all, it's a really good old girl!!
The dizzy's did change over the years, but basically there was the Bosch type and NipponDenso type.
Your series of K engine should be with the normal engine number. Just look forward of the dizzy and it should be there. That will make the cap a bit easier to get right.
Most nippondenso(look for a ND with numbers on your dizzy) are listed with a GD366 dizzy cap, earlier K were GD516.
Most common Bosch type is a GB708. All of these numbers are Bosch part numbers which are common at most of your local parts shops.
Again there's a couple of pumps but usually it was the change of series ie K - 3K -4K
3K aftermarket water pump usually crosses to a QCP1013
4K aftermarket water pump usually crosses to a QCP2135
These are QH part numbers but parts shops can cross reference them.
