 Post subject: Corolla KE30 normal vs deluxe

Hi guys..

One simple question :)
I was looking the other day one Corolla KE30 I'm thinking of buying and the guy has one good and one as a parts car. :)

The good one is normal KE30 I've seen on the net a lot, but the other one is a bit different;
- the hood is a lot different: it's rised more, air vents are different
- front mask is different
- the rear lights are a lot differetn, ther are bigger and diffrenet shape.
- there are emblems "corolla" on the side

What are those differences about ?! :)

the differences appear to be because one is the early version and the other is a late one.

it also sounds like the parts car (the late one) is a KE35 (coupe) and the red one (early) is a 2dr sedan.

check out the ID numbers, model code and build date. that will tell you alot about them without us having to guess :)

I'm digging the chrome fender flares on the bmw in the background of the 1st pic
how come none are available for jap cars? will surely make the ke30/70 stand out

Those flares are sure handy to hide rusted arches :mrgreen: Used to see them alot on mercedes and volvos around here.
