It's more of a case of having to really....i'm using it everyday and it's bottoming out on the crappy roads around me

On the positive side,i raised the front on a jack by 2 cm just get get a feel for the look and because of the shadow cast by the wheel arch,it doesn't alter the look that much.

It's double wishbone suspension with the springs sitting in those big ass cups that are part of the crossmember.....the seperate shock runs through the middle of the spring bolts to the lower wishbone and the cup on the x member. That's not bottoming,the lower wishbone is contacting the cross member.
Stiffer springs and shocks are the long term answer,these are way too soft to be running this low......unfortunately,bank account says no.

Heres some pics of mine. I sold it about 3.5 years ago after owning it for 5 years. Now im going to get it back in a couple weeks and finish it right. Got lucky the guy i sold it too still had it. Im going to shoot lot of pix while im restoring it.

Wow, never knew they sold them with 6cyl engines here in the US. :mrgreen:

Yep the 73-77 had them. Only engine available here. Then it became the Cressida. When i got rid of my 85 supra I had actually thought of putting in my 5mge in the Mark II. They the logistical thought got in the way and got too good of an offer for it. I have a bunch more pics of it when i had it disassembled. Then i ended up putting it back together for transport and sale. Im even gatting all of the parts that went with the car when it was sold.

Well i managed to get the front up by about a cm and stiffen it up at the same time.....Even by this small amount,the ride is sooo much better and now i can go over bumps at way over crawling pace.
I prefered it lower,but it was a small sacrifice to make i think.

I took some more pics to celebrate.

Also,here's some pics of my filter made out of a cut n shut pod filter.

Nope.....it's had some repairs in its lifetime and a respray at some point though.

I think those are the Konig B-Bombs. Have not seen to many of them yet. Certainly a good looking wheel and I would love a set for my Cressida.

Looks fantastic. Love the way it looks - the little lip sets it off at the front.

Must admit, I wouldn't bother with the pod filter. Big fan of the stock air cleaner and probably more functional.

Have you considered a single DCOE Weber carbie?

Not meaning to hijack thread, but the brown coupe on the first page is mine and the motor is a 2JZGE (not a 6MGE).
