Hi guys, I just picked up a 76 corona wagon a couple weeks ago. Got the fuel pump swapped and some other tune up stuff finished and she is running strong. Now I'm looking at the a/c system. My question is, and this may sound incredibly stupid, how do I turn the fan on? The a/c and vent controls are on the dash but I don't see any mechanism for actually turning the fan off/on. I have seen pics online of other year coronas that had a knob next to the cigarette lighter to turn the fan on, but I just have a cigarette lighter in that panel. If anyone can enlighten me that would be awesome! I can post pics tonight if that would help.

Photos will help. Aside from that, do what I do: push\pull\switch everything in the car until what you want happens

That's pretty much what I did but nothing happened. I'm sure it's staring me in the face. I can rebuild a motor but I can't figure out how to turn a fan on. Ha! Pictures coming soon....

You know. You're post made me think, even though it says nothing on the two levers about a fan, why not pull on them? Problem solved. Pulled the vent lever out and the fan came on. Simple answer is the best I guess. I'm sure I'll have more questions soon. Thanks man!!
