I have a 79 MX32 and am having the weirdest electrical issues. I have no power to my gauges, blower motor, or rear defog; but my wipers, radio and all lights work. I have 12 volts to all fuses at the fuse box and I have replaced the ignition switch. Charge light is lit VERY dimly. Alternator checks out at 14.2 volts running and battery is new (12.4 volts with engine off). Any ideas?

Corrosion in/on the fuse panel causes ridiculous electrical issues that make absolutely no sense sometimes.

I had a problem similar to that with the brake lights on my corona..and after checking it with a probe tester and then a volt meter I seen that it wasn't enought power going thru so I used fine grit sand paper and cleaned the connections on the panel and it worked fine after that .
Hope this helps
