I don't speak any Japanese, but I can't say how many times I have watched this. I would kill for that antenna setup on my car.

+1 for watching this clip way to many times.
Most of the Asian market Toyota's came with that setup.
Radio knob is used as on/off switch for both radio and antenna.

Maybe you already have it. I see them on some SR5's but usually dont work. Two wires going to the antenna is the giveaway. They lock down and they also had a small two prong "key" you poke in at the base to unlock.

Hmmm, interesting. The radio on my SR5 looks very similar to the one in the video, except that it also has FM. The power switch is the same, however. The antenna is definitely different though. Mine has a really bizarre 70s-era aftermarket job on it, with some sort of (hideous) signal booster on it. I have been planning to replace this with either a hidden or low-profile unit, but...perhaps I can find one of these to replace it with. Probably costs some cash these days, though. I will have to check the wires when I am reunited with my car in a month.
