Alright, so I don't know if you guys experience this with any other older toyotas/cars but the way my fuel neck is set up really doesn't allow easy filling of fuel. I usually have to hold the nozzle completely sideways and begin filling up very slowly or else fuel will just come flowing out. Pump nozzles back in the 70's and 80's must have been a different design and must have worked better for my vehicle. Pumps nozzles now have the vapor recovery on the nozzle (the big black plastic/rubber looking stuff) that blocks the entry into my filler neck. I don't really have a detailed picture but here is my fuel cap and not much extra room on either side or above it.
What I'm wondering is if anyone else has this issue and has either found something to work for them like an extension, or has found gas stations that don't have the huge vapor recovery bullshit on the nozzles. I live in California as well so hopefully someone knows of certain gas station chains that don't have vapor recovery nozzles.
