yeah the rear of the car is heaps lower now, pretty much on the bump stops. I'm going to cut them off so gain a bit more. On the down side, the exhaust scrapes speed humps and on un-even road (the roads here in Aus are the worst).

*I should really re-shim them to get valve clearances of 0.010" where they should be*
*+/- 2* for lift @ crank degrees as I measured twice to double check readings*

Intake cam with valve clearances 0.013"
Advertised duration: 275.5*
open: 28* BTDC
close: 67.5* ABDC

@ 0.050": 235.5
open: 10* BTDC
close: 45.5* ABDC

Lift @ crank degree
0.050" 11* BTDC
0.100" 1* BTDC
0.150" 13* ATDC
0.200" 25* ATDC
0.250" 40* ATDC
0.300" 57* ATDC
0.350" 83* ATDC
0.367" Max lift
0.350" 50* BBDC
0.300" 25* BBDC
0.250" 8* BBDC
0.200" 6* ABDC
0.150" 20* ABDC
0.100" 32* ABDC
0.050" 45* ABDC

11* + 45* + 180* = 236* @ 0.050"

236* / 2 = 118*
118* - 11* = 107* ICL

Exhaust cam with valve clearance 0.013"
Advertised duration: 282*
open: 71* BBDC
close: 31* ATDC

@ 0.050":
open: 57* BBDC
close: 11* ATDC

Lift @ crank degree
0.050" 59* BBDC
0.100" 49* BBDC
0.150" 36* BBDC
0.200" 25* BBDC
0.250" 13* BBDC
0.300" 2* ABDC
0.350" 21* ABDC
0.396" Max lift
0.350" 71* BTDC
0.300" 52* BTDC
0.250" 38* BTDC
0.200" 25* BTDC
0.150" 13* ABDC
0.100" 2* BTDC
0.050" 10* BTDC

59* + 10* + 180* = 249* @ 0.050"

249* / 2 = 124.5*
124.5* - 10* = 114.5* ECL

This is just one pair of cams that I have, I might get shims made up to swap over to my other set of cams for dyno day for a bit of cam tuning.

I made this for the job:

I work for a tire shop.I consider myself very good at what I do. I envy the guy that got those tires to seat the beads and air up on those wheels. Beautiful car man

fonz, the car looks great no matter what forum i see it on.

im still super jealous of your tires. and im still waiting for my tire fitting nightmare, but ill be using your method me-thinks! just gotta find something wide in the US.... sucks!

and oh, to the guy above me, he fitted the tires himself.

Whereabouts in Aus are you? That is one of the hottest 22's I have ever seen.

Results from the dyno?
