I have used DAS a few times, and have never been disappointed. I also used U-ship before, but was less than enthused by the delivery.

Yes and I wasn't happy with the shipper that I used through the site. Not uship's fault, but just my experience. I have shipped lots of vehicles and uship was my worst experience.

Please check transportreviews.com
I found & check reviews of the shipping company that I used form this website.

In last five years:
I used "DAS" service twice, from Atlanta & Virginia to California.
And later I used "Direct Express Auto Transport" twice as well from Michigan & Arizona.
All cars arrived safely & they provide good service.

If I need another car shipping in the future, I will use "Direct Express Auto Transport".
I consider "DAS" is more expensive. Our car will be picked up, loaded & unloaded with different drivers to different trucks along the way from east coast to west coast. I think this is not a good idea for most old cars.

"Direct Express Auto Transport" is brokerage car shipping company that will assign driver from pickup at the seller location until drop off at our location. Seller will explain anything needed to operate our old car. I believe we deal with one driver only. My AZ shipment picked up & deliver by one driver only.

Cheers, :D

From people I trust, I've only heard bad things about DAS.

I used Passport Auto Transport to move my car. They were great. The driver even pulled it into my garage as it wasn't yet used to driving my own car.
