First, color is SICK! Very nice choice and it looks like it layed out well. Second, what did you end up doing about the windshield?

The windshield I took off myself, after I removed all trims I bought a long razor and slowly cut each side till it came loose, I rather me brake it than anybody else.

Thanks for the color compliment, Because it has 5 coats of clear we are waiting a week till we wet sand so the clear can dry.

my new windshield got cracked while we were working on the car. my friend did it but i dont want him to have to pay for a new one, i might try and rob one from a junkyard if i can rig a secure holder for it in the bed of his truck. did you use piano wire or something to get through the seal on both sides? or just a razor? that must have taken forever.

did you use suction cups to lift it out? how did you store it?

I used window tinting blades with the plastic handle to take it off, I did one side at a time then the top, never pull or apply pressure cause that's when they crack.

I stored it in a closet all wrapped up in a comforter.

I have to admit the color came out nice. I was hoping for a two tone but this will do.

Interested to see the final product.

Car is amazing, this past saturday I went to Formula D at west palm beach and won first place for best classic at the slammed society car show.
The response to the car was amazing, even a couple of Japanese drivers came out of the drift pits just to see my car, one of them said this car makes me miss home :D

Lots of photo shoots coming soon.

Here a couple of pics.
