Hey my name's Ben and here's my Cressida!

1988 Cressida sedan Executive Edition

Pearl White
Digital Dash
Burgundy leather interior
Power Sunroof
and all the other factory options.

I bought myself a 1JZ-GTE with a R154 and am swapping it as we speak.
I will be running a Microtech LT-12S standalone and a GT3076R single turbo setup.

I have Serialnine/Stance D-spec coil overs with swift springs for suspension and these custom 15x8-57 mesh racing wheels, trying to widen the rears to 15x10-7 so I can run a wider tire. The 15's are quite wide, so I'm looking into getting some custom metal fender flares made by a friend.

If you want to stay current on my build, follow deathsquad on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/jointhedeathsquad

My old wheels in this photo are Work Euroline Type N's I just recently sold to my friend, they were 17x8+25 and 18x9+26

thank you! I can't wait either.

I have a few more photos from 2011 when it was on the road and rocking the works.

the body used to be mint too, until a big truck backed into my driver's rear quarter.

installed a new shifter end bushing, pivot seal, turret gasket, shifter boot and threw on my new woodgrain shiftknob.

Image

Why the motor/trans are out, I took a hammer to the firewall so I can get some more clearance for the R154

Image

The woodgrain knob will compliment my Nardi deep corn wheel nicely :)

thanks guys!

I'm trying to get it done in time for summer... I recently sold my 15" meshies and bought a brand new set of Work Equip 01's, they should be here in a couple months. Specs are 15x9-16 and 15x10+7

I believe they did come in those, however these are not from a mustang.

These are from a Twin Turbo R edition JZA70 supra. They came with recaro interior.

If those did come from a JZA70, then you did great for 200$ Old recaros like those are usually twice that a piece! I have an old set of LS recaros that I am hoping on rescuing. They look good in these JNCs. Keep up on the updates.

unfortunately the reason why I got the pair so cheap is because the second seat has quite a bit of damage to the fabric and a bit of the foam as it was the drivers seat. Fortunately for me, the passenger seat which is my driver seat is near mint shape!
I want to get both of them reupholstered to match my cressi's burgundy interior. I was thinking of just black microsuede where it is currently black, then a deep burgundy velour for the grey center section. Sounds sexy am I right? ;D

Sounds kool....for my Cressida, I'm using the stock interior, all white vinyl, brown/gold fabric inserts and gold welt cording. Door panels, rear deck and maybe the dash too.

My burgundy leather interior is in pretty mint shape so I figured I may aswell keep it. Could use a little more black though, it's burgundy overload. I needed to replace the front seats though, the stock power ones just weigh so much and aren't very supportive for hard driving.

You are in luck! The bolsters on the seat pan can still be bought from a place in the UK. They are a bit pricey at 70$ or so a piece, but are genuine recaro replacement. You might also luck out and find a set in the JY as these seats also came in some BMW 3 series. Fabric choice sounds on point. I plan to redo mine in black microfiber as well. My wife has a friend with a commercial embroidery machine and I am hoping to have either the Dragon logo or Celica stitched into the seat cover. If the damage to the foam is not too bad, you can get foam from an seat shop and redo it yourself as well.

That's good to know! Ooooo, I always wanted to put the dragon logo in the headrests of my old MK3's seats, never got to do it though. Maybe I could put the Cressida Crest in my Recaros...

The damage to the foam is minimal, basically a little dip right beside the headrest where the seatbelt slides, not even 1/2" deep.
Here I'll show ya.

There's also a cigarette burn hole on the bottom side as you can see, and some more bolster wear.
