Hi all,

I have 79 MX32 with carbie, it has only 55K miles on it. It was running fine then i didnt drove it for few months. It still starts but doesnt want to stay on. Is there anyone in Houston familiar with 4M engine that can help me out. If you know anyone please let me know. My friend drove my car to his shop but he is too busy to look at it and I really want this car to be up and running.

mine idles high all the time, don't drive it enough to work on it. mine had some wiring gremlins, the fuses under the dash were kind of messed up bc of their brackets being old and brittle and not always connecting. if it moved at all, even just hitting a bump or coming to a fast stop, the car would die because of that. there's so little wiring in the carbed car to worry about that if the carb is ruled out it should be easy to trace.

Still no luck yet. I wish someone can help me to have a look at it. Its so hard to find someone down here who knows about cressida.

dont need a cressida specialist. carbed cars are simple, any decent mechanic should be able to help you out.
