Hey guys,

Thought I'd share my 1973 Corona SE with you all, I have had her for nearly 3 months now and is a work in progress.

She has 108xxx miles on her and is dead original, only modification is a CD player and chrome air filter assembly (still have the original - just looked daggy).

The car has small "AMI" badges on the lower front guards, AMI stands for Australian Motor Industries - from my knowledge the parts for the car were imported from Japan, and the car was assembled in Melbourne, Australia.

It has a 12R 1.6L engine (same as the early Hilux's, Hi-aces and Landcruisers?) and the K40 4 speed gearbox, 6.7" Diff with 4 '1 Ratio. I have done a fair bit of work to get her tidied up and now she is a sweet cruiser and my daily driver!

Anyway... Here it is..

Thanks man, I'm on a work trip at the moment, can't wait to get back and take her for a big cruise! Also just purchased a front sunvisor (the old metal ones that go above the front windscreen). Should be waiting for me when I get home :)

Cheers guys,

Not much has been happening with her lately, just more cleaning up and cruising. Engine bay is pretty much all done now! Here's a pic of her on a recent cruise to keep me going until I get stuck into her more!
