I am not a mechanic by trade so I am learning as I go. It is a 1976 corolla 1.6.
So far I have:
-Rebuilt asian 2 barrel carb
-replaced vacuum lines
-re gasketed all intake and exhaust gaskets (including ones on intake)
-new cap, rotor, points
-fixed all holes in exhaust
When I got this car it didn't idle below 2k rpm. It is much better now, but something isn't right. Please listen to the videos and leave feedback.
Video isn't working, but you can still hear
This is by the motor in the beginning, and at the tail pipe at the end.http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80 ... -08-21.mp4
This is driving the car up a ridiculously steep hill. The ponies run when its moving, but this dang rough idle is killing me.http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80 ... -06-17.mp4

before I did the exhaust and tune up:http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80 ... -49-03.mp4
Can someone point me in the right direction?
