Ok I know this is going to be a hard one for anyone to answer with no photos.

So I have the opportunity to buy a 1975 Toyota Celica GT For $1000 USD
The only rust on the car is where the hatch closes in the corner. It's all there all stock
What I'd like to know is if i buy this car for 1000 and throw another 1200 in paint it get it looking good what could I possibly sell it for?
Any rough idea would be great.

Thanks for any help

If your only intention is to flip it, don't bother. A $1200 paint job will not add $1200 of value to it. In fact, if it's the original paint, it will likely lose value after you paint it.

Polish it up, fix the few small things that need fixing, toss it on ebay.

haha I knew it was a long shot

The 1200 was just for replacement parts and such the paint materials will be free just my man hours.
