Great find even if it is a lot of work. Looks like a solid base and will look tons better with a good power washing. Keep us updated.

And I thought my brown one was in the low build numbers. It was made in December of '72 and is # 4971. Yours is much earlier.

So will you have it running by JCCS? We can park next to each other as I am most likely bringing mine this year.

I will look at my parts car for the rod. The hatch is crunched but it may still be good.

Looks like it spent a bit of time sitting near the ocean, but it's all there. Looking forward to watching this rebuild happen. The clean roof isn't something I've seen a lot of.

This looks a lot of work but if there is no rust you are lucky, rust on body is very time consuming compared to engine-tranny stuff.
