Last week I picked up a nice Crown. It´s in a good shape and will be my daily for the next time.

It´s a first owner garage kept car with 145000km´s.

Here are some pictures of the car, unfortunately they are too big for the forum:

Thank you!

Yeah, it´s really clean. But it can be even better :)

First I want to repair and replace some of the bad bits:
Replacing the side mouldings, all the door sealings.
Repairing the passenger side window lift, the trunk opener and the cruise control.
On saturday it gets a polish and wax treatment.
In the next two weeks I want to have the Underbody CO2 blasted and all the dirt removed, then I will see if there is anything to weld. After welding it, it will be conserved with fluidfilm from the inside and permafilm from the outside.

Then I will start modifying it:
I have planned to put 45/35 lowering springs in.
Some 17" wheels, maybe the Work Euroline from a friend, or something similar from Mercedes or so, which is cheaper and easier to register...
There are nice chrome wind deflectors in Japan, maybe I will get a set.
I want to have a really good sound system inside, with a Nakamichi CD700 HU and some hidden gimmics.

That´s all for now I guess. I will post pictures of the progress of course!

Oh, and that´s me with the price for the oldest car on the meeting:

They have made a small slalom track, not for competition, just for fun. I could not resist taking the Crown for one lap on the track! :o
The people around were cheering and clapping theyr hands when they saw how the boat was taking the curves 8)
