i agree, blast the interior, the engine bay, repair major rust and rot damage, and leave the "patina" on the outer body. kinda rat rodish. 8)

Went to the Pick'N'Pull this morning where there is a good condition '87 SR5 Automatic sitting.

45min and $61 later...

Not much going on right now. Just trying to research and start fabbing up the mounting for the rack and pinion steering and as well as everything for going coilovers/3-link rear.

If anyone is interested, the rear GTS dust shields/caliper mounts are still available through Toyota...



...but the cost is $170 and the wait is two weeks :)

Someone PLEASE part/sell your rear GTS brakes! hahaha

Be VERY careful about media blasting the flat surfaces, the roof especially. Too much force or too much time on one spot will warp the thin metal really bad.
