Hey guys, I've been lurking the forums for a while now, so its about time I posted something up, so here's my crowns!

MS55:

i picked her up with a low milage dead 2m. bhg at 19,000 miles and garaged since 1971. I was lucky enough to find a brand new 5mge in a box from a string of connections.
Image
the original 5mge intake plenum fouled the brake master cyl so i had to fabricate a custom FFIM.

MS60 in rough condition, ex-lowrider w/hydraulics. hacked up pretty badly by the previous owner, so bosozoku is the way to go!!

That MS50 is gorgeous. Great job on the swap too.

And that poor, poor kujira. If you ever plan to sharknose it or anything please sell me the front nose piece above the grille.

yea, there's not one straight panel on her... not even the roof! one of the crazy previous owners thought it was a good idea to cut her up and fit a sunroof off a cadillac. good thing is she doesn't have any rust. i'm in the process of gathering parts so i can remove the hydraulics and rebuild the suspension that is well worn from years of bouncing up and down. it would be nice to do it right with a stiff setup, and achieve that low down look. the motor is surprisingly peppy, but i have to manually shift the auto tranny, or itll start out in third. i hope to fix the problem with a w58 soon.

Those twin carbs on the MS65 are pretty rare too I think.

Do the hydralics still work on that car? i'd love to see a pic of it 3-wheelin or something. Remind me of the Pink ms55 from England that was posted a while back.

I haven't been on for a while, so it's about time for an update! The whale has been sitting for months until I was lucky enough to find a low mile w50 out of a first gen celica-supra! the swap was surprisingly easy, everything bolted in, the w50 is the same length as the original toyoglide, so I didn't even have to have a drive shaft custom made! The only fabrication required was fitting a clutch pedal.

I was even able to completely remove the hydraulic system and work on her lowdown stance with some proper springs and shocks! (additional 2" drop!)

while toji was taking pics of the front, I took some of their rears!

It seems like Shamu never leaves out without her best friend, TheZombie!

Can't forget the MS55! She was able to stretch her legs earlier this month! Just turned 20k, and got her first flat tire! EVER!

Also got her a pretty cool oil cap and other cool Crown parts from Pertano earlier this year! Thanks man!

For sure man! I've yet to have came across a crown in the yard, but when I do, I'll keep you in mind. What parts were you looking for?
