So i figured it was time to start a build thread.... so here we go..... Ive been working on cars since i was six and have always liked oldschool imports. My dad has a 86.5 supra in mint condition so it only seemed right to say within the Toyota family.... Ive had this car since i was 16 and now im 20. i drove it stock for about 2 years until I went to my first JCCS back in 2009. then i slowly started modifying it........ I just finsihed rebuilding the engine on friday and fired her up staurday. shes got a long way to go before JCCS 2012 and i figured id share the journey with yall. heres the mods list so far:

AE86 ground control coilovers
AE86 panhard bar
Aluminum radiator
HKS metal head gasket
isky cam
Solex Locks - ordered
header - ordered
Bubble shift knob
re-upholstered seats
MSD blaster coil
NGK plugs and wires

can somebody show me how to post pictures haha thanks.......

go to photobucket, upload your photos, then they will give you an [IMG] photo [IMG] link which you copy and paste on your post here.

Link them, ie copypaste the image URL and post it.
Either that, or you can resize them Photobucket has an editor that'll let you do so.

I kno its been a while since my last post but heres the picture of the updated engine bay. I got the header from OBX and it fits really well. only problem im having is that i scrape it everywhere i go. other than that it works great.

I put Solex locks on my Corona using a Camry kit, and some modifying. People like them... and I do to since they can't be picked like my stock cylinders were. My car was stolen once (and recovered) and I decided on the Solex kit. Where did you get your radiator from?

I had a 78 Coupe and loved it. Some lady ran a red light and totalled it, I keep saying I'll get another some day, I loved that car. When it was totalled, I had so much custom work done to it that it was appraised at $6300 - without a paint job on it, it was primered black.

Mine is going on an 80 Corolla. Out of all 3 locks on my car, only 1 worked lol. Since the lever to open my hatch doesn't always work I decided the new locks just made the most sense to do.

I had to cut the holes in my door a little larger for the Camry locks (used a small file and a dremel), but the one for the trunk worked great. I worked at a Toyota dealership at the time so I was able to try a couple different sets before I found one that would work.

Every once in a while I spray graphite lube into the cylinder... keeps them working nice and smooth.
