Just picked this up a week or so back, 845 bucks. Clean title, no motor, trans was there.
Swapped rebuilt 20r and w56 2wd truck tranny into it (took them out of my 67 stout)
1975 Celica GT. 99% rust free (couple small spots of surface here and there). Body is damn straight but the passenger front fender which will be worked out. Flares, satin pearl white, and a proper color change paintjob coming soon.

Got a cheap but beat up smiley...straightening it out/fiberglass, and painting it.
Custom made chin spoiler. And will be building a duckbill for the trunklid.

Have a set of 15x8 0et eagle 028s with meaty 235s on them that are going on it. Getting coilovers asap to get the front down.
Plans are simple 20r, sidedrafts, cam, header...and maybe a little nitrous. Might do a 20/22r hybrid later, but gotta finish the Supra and 22rz 4x4 first.

Been crazy busy...gettin some work done on the celica tho.
Got big vented cressida brakes/spindles to mount the coilovers to, got the coilovers welded up, ordered camber plates...
rear shock hole just needs to be redrilled on the shock and the backs are ready...so If the camber plates get in this week...it'll go in this weekend.

ZG flares came in, got the dash bezel wood grain finished up. Headliner is done in suede, dash to be recovered soon.
Racing seat brackets made. Should be getting carpet this week to lay down.

Awesome stuff. Tell me more about your high comp 6m. I've got a high comp M series as well.

slightly shaved block and head with the later style high comp 5m pistons in the jdm 6m block..car ran balls out, dynoed 210 tq at the wheels.

Any idea's about the compression ratio? I've got a low comp 5m bottom end with a 7m head. Basically a 24v 2.8 M series

No..people have said that the later high comp 5m pistons in the jdm 6m block yield roughly 10:1...with the slight shaving maybe just a bit more...

What fuel managment?

A toyota family! I approve lol. I have two celicas and a scion. I want a stout so bad but never able to buy one. Look up "Spokane Toyota Owners Club" on facebook. I think they had a meet today but i'm not sure.

stock fuel managment (82 with vacuum dizy), with the plug in the afm drilled out to use the air bypass screw for tuning with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator tuned on the dyno's wideband

Thats fantastic news! I'm running later mx73 fuel management, and people on the celica supra forums were telling me id never make more than 195. We've not done a super accurate calculation, but it should come out to somewhere around 13:1. I've got a 40 over bottom end to put in it when I get the last few parts together. Had to take some of the parts for my 5 speed mx73 haha. You ever hear of anybody else using a 5m bottom end and 7m head?
