Hi there,

I bought this car a couple of weeks ago, and started working on it now.
My plan is to sort out the body work and paint it white.
It seems that someone allready tried to "restore" the car... Using bondo only, so one hell of a jobb i have to do to get the body looking good againg.

I´am also considering fender flares, bought some on Ebay, and hope they fit....

Not sure with engine, i want a 18rg, but it seems hard to find in Norway.....

Ant suggestions??
Also, where can i get a nice chin spoiler for this car?

Would a chin spoiler off a BMW 2002 fit? The dimensions look extremely similar in front.

Hehehe,
Im considering an engine from a different brand, since it seems hopeless to find a descent toyota engine to build on...
Maybe a Nissan engine or something.

The restauration of the car seems to take a while, since the body of the car have been seriously abused by someone who dont know what they were doing....
But im all smiles for now.... Need to make me some new sills, anyone who know what i can use?

I know what you mean, I am always searching for body parts for mine... I know it can be really frustrating looking for parts forever and never find anything. I have seen a few cars go for parts over here but they are few and far between. If I can help look for anything I will help while I am still over here in Japan.

NOOOO!! it will ruin the character of the car for ever; go for a 2M, it was a factory option. There is a scandinavian crown club somewhere on the net; they were very helpful withme when i had my MS55.
Best of luck with the restoration of the bodywork. Been through that ordeal myself

I've got a pair of SU carbies and the manifold to suit, came off an 8R from an RT72 corona if you want to throw them on your motor

Hello,
Have`nt had time to do anything with the car lately, but hopefully i will manage to get something done during x-mas....
I have tried to fix the rear fenders, but i dont think its possible..... someone have changed the wheel arches in the rear, and the job they did was really bad...
So im thinking of fitting golf 1 wheel arches on the car... I know that it will lower the "value" of the car, but i dont see any other solution... I dont want to use plastic padding all over the car, and I will have to put alot of it to make them look good again.. Unless someone can hook me up with some new rear fenders......

Whats the price for the carbs and the manifold?
