Looking at budget and availability...
I think i am going with a 1jz i got laying arround for quite a while, and mate it to a W58 trany, thats why i am looking for a bellhousing for a JZ and W58,

I do some thinking and swapping a LS1 take too much front X-member modification and R&P relocation, and this is intended to be a low buck project, so the Powerplant will be a 1jzgte for now,

And i know u guys are happier i keep it in the Toyota family.

My friend, i have seen this car more than 10 years ago in my mind.

Ohh by the way, the bellhousing for the JZ powerplant is here also as well as a W58 tranny, brake and clutch pedal assembly are on its way thanks to "OkieRA29"

I am having second toughs now on power plant choice and i am tinkering the option of leaving the 22r but made it TURBO, i got everyting here to do so, and the only thing i need is to rebuilt the existing engine, i don't want a race car, i want a nice street car with about 300 to 375 hp and i think the 22r can do that if i turboed it.

What u guys think?

I would say turbo the 22r. Less work and less cost I would assume and it could keep the handling at factory-ish instead of front heavy.

Looks like a nice project. What do you plan to do with your original seats? My RA64 could use a refresh, and it is 100% impossible to find parts around here.

And i have been involved and work hand in hand with most of the engine builders of many of those record holder guys with other builts and have my own builds before and i dont go by other build guys that does not go the extra mile to find out what break and at what level of abuse, we do that and most of my builds i use custom grind cams to my specific specs, that my cam supplyer do not reveal to anyone without my permision, this is dedication, i will take my experience in the G54B starion engine that is the closest thing to the 22r carasteristics and put it to work and i know for sure it will work and 100% positive that with my goal of 350 HP is more than proven i can do it,

Who in the hell would think a 3tc engine will reach 780WHP with stock block, head, crankshaft, flywheel, and rocker arm setup, and yes we do that in a team of guys in PR and the car is running 7.80 in the 1/4 mile with a 28x10.5W tire on a stock chassis extreme TE72 car,
So this built will be a walk in the park for me i am 100% sure about it.

dont forget the other similar motors like the ka24 and 2.3L ford. i am kind of lost on what your planning here now though. we're talking all out now when you did say before that you are looking for a nice streetable car w/ ~300hp and not a racecar. also if you're looking for anything for that car i have heaps of old school jdm goodies from the gttr build left over and tons of coupe parts and some 22r race stuff i'm not using

300 HP is no race engine for me, that is a nice hi performance daily engine IMO, you can list what you got and i can choose what can i use if you got something i can use i wont hesitate to buy it, for the right price!

By the way i want to tell you; no hart feelings we just get carried over, at least that how i feel.

let me know what you need and i'll see what i've got. most of the stuff i have is 85+ so if you're using an 84 or older block i wont have much unless you went carb
