thanks ya'll this weekend was mute because of the storms; so maybe next weekend ill work on it a bit more... on a serious note, does anyone know if i can drop the rear axle without using anything on the rear springs? imma scared they gonna fly off and hurt/kill me

no, when you jack up the rear it basically leaves all pressure. .disconnect the shocks and the 4 links will keep it in place so you can pull the springs out with out any effort really.
