Got the air conditioning re-gassed during the week. Turns out the system just needed a bit of R-12 and some mineral oil to lubricate the compressor and it came right pretty much straightaway. Was amazed that it was still legally available, however it can only be used if the existing R-12 system is not completely depleted.

Proof that even the scruffiest cars can look relatively tidy from a minimum of two metres away...
