Does anyone know where to find a WEATHERSTRIP, LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT for a Carina TA12 (partnumber 6446114010 )? Or know about something that fits? Toyota was out of stock.

Perhaps one from TA22 or similar would fit?

I can't answer your question directly, but I can tell you what someone suggested to me.

My brother-in-law is an auto body tech, and he suggested that the luggage compartment of my car used a pretty generic "old car" seal.

It's possible a universal type weather strip will work just fine.

Thanks. Ive had a talk to my Toyota dealer, and this item is no longer available. Also tried different Ebay TA22 sellers, no luck so far.

Im restoring my car next year, and ive manage to get a hold of all the other rubbers for the windshields (front and rear), side windows aso.
Ill just keep on looking on Ebay, if not a universal strip is probably the solution.
If I dont opt out and try one from another car from the same period :)

Ive sendt PMs to just about every Ebay seller who offers TA22 parts.
Finally Ive found one who claims to have the trunk seal:

I payed 40usd including shipping to Norway. Just a tip from my side if any one else is interested :)
I hope it fits, if not its worth a shot anyways.
Ill update with the results.

I also replaced theese, at the same time as i fitted a new set of breake calipers in the front, and breake cylinders in the rear (drum breakes in the rear):

Might say it was about time :)

It will be a vastly inferior hard rubber extrusion without any of the complexity of the original seal.

You have been warned.......
