So I be rebuilding my 2tc. While I'm at it I want to give it a little more all motor power. So I'm thinking of running this cam

My question is since I will be taking the head to the machine shop anyways I thought I should be oversized valves put in. The question what size should I go with and also what strength of springs? Cause I know to little can hurt power out put and too big can also..
So any ideas would be awesome.

This is not an extreme cam, a good valve job, a nice clean 3-angle, with a back cut. Oversize valves are not needed, but mild port work would be in order.


A mild compression bump would be beneficial as well.

Yes, a sharper cam needs some higher CR, skim the head or a thinner headgasket, otherwise the engine is quite dull in lower rev range.
Beware for interference, measure the space between valve and piston with kids clay on top of piston and turn engine in a loose mock up state. About 1.5 to 1mm space should be left.
