Doing awesome on long trips. The only changes I need to make are with the exhaust. Im going to extend the tip past the rear bumper, add a flex joint after the down tube and jam nut the collector bolts. Two of them keep coming loose and rattling. Oddly enough there is never any exhaust leak when it happens because of the socket type connector.

Oh and the bench seat. Damn that thing is uncomfortable lol. Ill be switching back to OG buckets soon.

What brand white walls are those? Do you like them?

I'm thinking of rocking the white walls myself

They are atlas brand whitewalls. I like them pretty good. Just make sure you prep the inner surface of the wheel before installing them. I roughed the inside edge up with 40 grit sandpaper and rubbed it off with lacquer thinner. I also wiped the whitewall down with alcohol to get any molding oils off of it and wiped with lacquer thinner on the ribbed surfaces that will be pinched between the wheel and tire. I have had no slippage issues with mine, even getting up to 85 on the highway.

What kind of MPG do you get on your setup? I am thinking of getting one of these for a driver.

One of these what? Engines or the car. My 22re has a slightly larger lift and duration cam, ported head, header, etc. and it probably gets about 26 or so. Probably could get better but I dont take it easy on the car when I drive it lol.

I appreciate man

Ive just been driving it while I finish my beetle. But I traded a washer/dryer for this and made it my daily. IT had been sitting for quite a bit of time at a shop for lack of payment of an engine rebuild. Score for me. Replaced pretty much all of the CIS fuel injection system and it purrs. Lift-off oversteer is fun lol

Started like this
