i jus picked up this corona coupe. been sitting 15 years.out of the weather luckily. its pretty much rust free. RUNS! and im stoked!
:D
this thing is a survivor. all original except it was repainted the wrong color:(
the only damage in the interior is what you can see in the bottom of the drivers seat.

stay tuned as i bring it back to its former glory:)

for now i just wanna get it road worthy. im trying to get it going by jul 6th for our local week long car shows and cruise (grafitti week) it needs the typical things like clutch and brake master cyl. as far as future plans im thinking wheels and drop maybe a small chin spoiler. fender mirrors for sure. if i can find them. and when i get tired of the gutless motor i wanna swap it out too. any suggestions on what type of motor to use. i was thinking maybe a 4agze?

any imput is welcome:)

p.s. i found the grill in the trunk!

(Browsing and and commenting whilst stoned is a bad idea, hence the edit  ) But a 1j or 2j would be uber rad. Your coupe makes a gorgeous car when done right and it sounds like youre heading in the right direction :wink

Wow!!! She cleans up good! Very nice. Did you have to do anything to the paint?

What are your plans? Just restore as you go?

just attended the 30th annual graffiti weekend events here in my hometown:)
there was 500-600 cars mostly american hot rods and muscle cars, rat rods etc...
also a few new things done to the car.
repainted grille.
yellow highbeams.
buffed paint.
and threw on some 14x7 wheels i had laying around.
wish i would have had enough time to lower the front.

Not sure on the price, but this would be a great project to finish.

Whats the other project?

In the Corona a stanfdard 4age would probably make it fly. Anything above is just icing.
