Started as this, on the day I got it a couple years ago:

I was so excited, and dorky, that I had to do a requisite "JDM pose" which sucked:

Looked good from that side, but the previous owner had hit a deer:

Luckily, my buddy Bill (Celica XX on here) had a parts car for me:

So my friends came over and we did some work:

And now I have this:

And then I decided that it was time for some real rubber, so I got these:

And now, with the RS-8s on there, I have this:

'85 Celica Supra, P-type with a 6M-GE swap and a bunch of other goodies. It's almost time to send it to paint. I just gotta find a shop that will take care of the rust so I won't have to do it later when its worse.

Hey, I know all those locations. Once I get 'one' of my cars running we need to cruise. There are three or four of us on here.

If this comes together, perhaps you could organize a cruise to the Red River? Then we could cruise up there and have a TX/OK meet?

99.9% sure it is. 8)

For those unfamiliar, click here...

And Marietta is almost exactly halfway between DFW and OKC.

And someone (who wants to take charge of organizing it) should start a thread on this, rather than hijacking this one. 8)

yeah, same here. I haven't seen him here or over on celicasupra in some time. I will see what I might be able to track down. Still, Maybe some of us Okies and Texans can still get together. I know it will be quite some time before I get the RA29 and the 83 supra back together, but there is always the 87 supra...
