Can't decide between an R30 and an R32?
Man this thread has changed what I want. Now I'm thinking sedan for the 30 and get it pre-iron mask. Though it's not going to remain anywhere near stock or period correct. It'll be fun. No fears though, not going to do anything ridiculous or cliche. Not into stickers or non-functional shopping carts.

then just buy an MR30 sedan from Australia, will cost alot less then DR30 sedan, more money for an engine swap, etc

or buy an MR30 in the US, since I live there and it'd cost far far less. :-)

So, both R31's and R30's cost far less then I expected.

I once had the opportunity to buy a functional, fully road legal, mechanically sound pre-facelift "spartan" DR30 sedan in what one would call average to rough condition, for under $1000.

Passed on it reluctantly, for once in my life exhibiting a shred of self-control, because what the hell would I do with three DR30s? But kinda wish I had snapped it up, now that I've seen what the new owner eventually ended up doing to it :?

The car as I viewed it originally (yes, missing the triple slat, but if anything this helped to conceal its true "identity")

Got any pics of what he did with it?

So.... I'm suddenly thinking R-30 wagon with a nissan v-8 for towing/practicality reasons. Hmmm so many cars and only two garage spits available, HOA won't allow cars parked on the street.

But I'm thinking an R30 wagon with stovetop tails, a fairly inconspicuous color that doesn't stand out like midnight purple with Gold watanabe's or prodrives, maybe even volks... I love me some volks. White seats with purple stitching and a black floor/headliner. Leave the electronics stock looking but updated, all ready tinkering with how I'm going to do it.

Though a pearl blue with the same interior but blue stitching would also look good. Leave the seats as the exact same cut/shape, just brand new materials and an updated style. Or beige cloth seats and a console/dash that matches the exterior of the car.

Never been much of a purist.

Bah so many things I want.

I like the garage. A lot. I'd steal it but that's a long way away and I just don't steal things. Pirate maybe, but never steal.

My mate from Osaka has the white fj20 one. And one of his mates has one with a sr20 in. Talk about down grade
Be keen to get all to meet up somewhere

It's not what you know, it's who you know.
I pit crew for the Nissan Heritage Race Team, and handle a fair bit of the P.R.
Nissan loaned us a GT-R for hotlaps at the recent Musclecar Masters. Good advertising for them.
I signed for it and was in charge of the car for the weekend.
4th time we've had GT-Rs, but we got a 370Z in QLD.
That was nice too.
