It's for sale if you're interested.
And yes, it is a genuine Gibson/Nissan Motorsport car.

That is sexy on so many levels.

After tearing through this thread I feel like I suddenly like the r30 best pre-iron mask.... Hmmm an here I was getting all ready to start the process of importing one. I suddenly have a decision to make, iron mask 2door or early 30 sedan. Or an r32 from 86 of either sedan or coupe. Bah! I want them all. Skylines are my pokemon it seems. Meh whatever.

Can't decide between an R30 and an R32?
The answer is obvious!
R31  :tu: :tu:

With my first DR30 I always wanted to run Tekamon lights and filler panel, with a pre-Tekamon bonnet and a 3 slat grille cut down to two slats to fit above the Tekamon filler... I ran the flat bonnet with the Tekamon lights for a while but never did the grille. I think I pulled the lights and filler out at one point and used the early lights and grille aswell because those lights are soooooooooooooo much brighter even when swapping the same set of globes between them

Pre-facelift R30>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ironmask IMO

You can get the sedans here, my old one (no pics, sorry :() was Aus-delivered with IRS, L24E (L-type 6cyl is the best sounding engine Nissan have ever produced :)), 5spd, pimp interior etc.

I meant r-31 but I type r32 so often my phone autocorrected it.

Man this thread has changed what I want. Now I'm thinking sedan for the 30 and get it pre-iron mask. Though it's not going to remain anywhere near stock or period correct. It'll be fun. No fears though, not going to do anything ridiculous or cliche. Not into stickers or non-functional shopping carts.

the pre iron mask spartans are dam sexy aswell, I would love the opportunity to buy a Non-Turbo spartan coupe to park next to the Ironmask.

 Raises hand
I've got a DR30 in Australia, however I'm In Adelaide, there are a few DR30's over here though. However mine is currently un-registered and dont see it being registered until Jan after my wedding.

I once had the opportunity to buy a functional, fully road legal, mechanically sound pre-facelift "spartan" DR30 sedan in what one would call average to rough condition, for under $1000.

Passed on it reluctantly, for once in my life exhibiting a shred of self-control, because what the hell would I do with three DR30s? But kinda wish I had snapped it up, now that I've seen what the new owner eventually ended up doing to it :?

The car as I viewed it originally (yes, missing the triple slat, but if anything this helped to conceal its true "identity")
